Would-be expats and overseas real estate investors can now get onto the property ladder in Panama with just $ 45,000, researchers at InternationalLiving.com have found.

There are a string of other properties available. A fully-remodeled house on a nearly 1.5-acre lot in the El Alto neighborhood is one example.
The 1,200-square-foot home is private and has 360-degree views of the mountain-scape. It features two bedrooms, two baths, and a large terrace with a price of $ 95,000.
